Walker earned his MBA at Piedmont College with a BA in Business Management. He was a 4 year starter as an infielder and later became a Graduate Assistant at Piedmont. Walker served as an assistant baseball coach for Gordon College from 2008-2009. 

Seeing that his entire life has revolved around sports,

Home Plate has given him the opportunity to continue his athletic endeavors in a family-driven community.

Walker is married to his supportive wife, Amanda. Together they have 3 children, Rowan, Morgan, and Mills.
